20171223 Cloud of possibilities

There are a few decision points much earlier in life I occasionally wonder about, but for the most part I don't second-guess myself. Our existence is apparently based on probabilities and perturbations of infinitesimal points; as such I doubt there is exactly one universe/timeline, or hard forks into an infinite number of distinct universes/timelines. My speculation is more like a cloud of possibilities that resolve into specific changes only when necessary. (What constitutes "necessary" often to devolves into a dualistic argument about free will vs. destiny from which I excuse myself.)
